Awarded PhD researcher at the  Nokia Foundation Awards Ceremony.

Our team member, PhD researcher Mahmoud Elsanhoury from University of Vaasa was awarded a Nokia Scholarship at the Nokia Foundation Awards Ceremony yesterday. The annual event celebrates research, innovation and collaboration bringing together various disciplines and supporting the scientific development of and education in information and telecommunications technologies.

The Nokia Scholarship is intended to encourage efficient, fast-progressing doctoral studies and research. Nokia Scholarships are granted to individuals pursuing a doctoral degree in Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) or in areas supporting the development of these branches of science. This scholarship can only be granted to a person once.

The title of Mahmoud Elsanhoury’s application for the scholarship was “Towards Precision Positioning For Smart Logistics Using Fusion-Based Ultra Wideband and MIMO-Assisted LEO Satellites Technologies”.
