Senior Members of the Local Journalist Association Visited Kvarken Space Center
Today, senior members of the local journalist association visited us at the Space Data Lab. These retired journalists were interested in space research and space projects conducted at the University of Vaasa. They were very good in making interesting questions – it must be caused by their profession!
Professor Heidi Kuusniemi introduced the guests to the Kvarken Space Center, as well as space research and projects carried out at the University of Vaasa. She also discussed general aspects of space exploration and utilization, satellites, positioning systems, remote sensing, and the rapidly growing space industry.
Laboratory Engineer Jaakko Yliaho’s presentation primarily focused on our own KvarkenSat cubesatellite and its payload.
