KvarkenSat Innovation Challenge has started!
KvarkenSat Innovation Challenge on Sustainable Forestry is finally here! We have been planning this for months together with our partners and sponsors and the hackathon organizer Ultrahack.
We are so happy to see so many eager teams working towards sustainable solutions for forestry with help of space-based data. We are also very proud and grateful of all our mentors who give their time to help the teams develop their solutions.

Here are the winners!
After the hectic hackathon weekend the jury announced the winners:
The first prize went to team Gaenseliese. Their topic was “The advantages of static maps with high spatial resolution can be merged with coarse scaled satellite retrievals, possessing high temporal resolution”.
Brendan, Marian and Philip (not in the picture) were very happy after their win.
